What can you expect from us?

You work as part of a team of more than 600 pilots, all of whom are selected for their sense of responsibility and friendliness. You receive the support of the professional Flight Operations division, consisting of Flight Technical Affairs, Flight Crew Training, Flight Operations Support and Project Pilots. Final responsibility lies in the hands of Peter Smit, our Head of Flight Operations. Together we ensure top-notch safety on board and optimal flight operations for our passengers and colleagues.

Package Non TR B737 First Officer

  • We offer a contract for the duration of 5 months with the intention to prolong into a permanent contract
  • The annual starting salary for a Non Type Rated First Officer is € 56.687,76. Transavia contributes € 10.935,60 to your pension scheme each year.
    Furthermore this amount includes:
    - 8% of your gross annual salary on holiday pay, paid every year in May;
    - 5.75% of your gross annual salary on a fixed end-of-year bonus;
    - Pension premium.
  • Annual salary increase every year in July
  • A variable profit sharing scheme (max. 12% of your gross annual salary) linked to Transavia’s overall performance.
  • Salaries are paid for 2 years upon falling ill.
  • There is an excellent payment scheme after 2 years of illness. There is also a Loss of License insurance.
  • Each pilot is assigned to a fixed operational base. For all First Officers joining Transavia in 2019 this will be Schiphol (AMS).
  • Other benefits:
    - Uniform provided
    - Annual medical check provided
    - Annual license renewal provided
    - Parking at base provided
    - Daily allowance during night stop

Transavia does not pay flight pay. The salary is all-in regardless of the number of hours that you fly. At present, the average number of flying hours a year is 600.

Package TR B737 First Officer

  • We offer a permanent contract immediately (probation period 2 months)
  • The annual starting salary for a Type Rated First Officer with 1000 hours TT and 500 hours on type is € 69.066,36. Each year Transavia contributes € 13.333,92 to your pension scheme
  • The annual salary for a Type Rated First Officer with 2800 hours on type is €82.916,88. Each year Transavia contributes € 16.007,76 to your pension scheme
    Furthermore these amounts include: 
    - 8% of your gross annual salary on holiday pay, paid every year in May;
    - 5.75% of your gross annual salary on a fixed end-of-year bonus;
    - Pension premium.
  • Annual salary increase every year in July. The maximum annual salary for a First Officer is € 122.451,40. Transavia contributes € 34.880,04 to your pension scheme
  • A variable profit sharing scheme (max. 12% of your gross annual salary) linked to Transavia’s overall performance.
  • Salaries are paid for 2 years upon falling ill.
